It’s the first contemporary artist to have a work in the museum of the chapel of the Saint

Master Pippo Borrello, friend of long-standing Capri got another important, prestigious recognition to his intense artistic activity. The Madam Deputation of Real Treasury Chapel of San Gennaro, in fact commissioned the construction of a painting depicting the Saint.

Pippo Borrello becomes the first painter of the modern age to have a work in the Museum of the Chapel of St. Gennaro, now open to the public.

An opening that allowed the return to light an inestimable treasure, which tells not only the story, but also stories of faithful who gift of objects from the intrinsic value and affective, as a sign of gratitude and devotion to the Saint.

The work measures 150x150 centimeters, created with an embossed prepared mixed technique with gold leaf, silver and coppered gold, it is exposed on the occasion of the exhibition on the Vesuvius.
