Pippo Borrello ambassador of the Brazilian art

Verona Fedele, 2000

Invitation exhibition in Brasile, 2000

The painter Pippo Borrello after the success at two exhibitions held at the “Historic and Artistic Museum of Sao Luis Maranhao” in Brazil and “Internexus Yazigi”, went back to Verona strongly motivated morally and artistically and with great enthusiasm prepares for upcoming exhibitions in Austria and Germany as well as the works commissioned in Italy and Brazil.

The Brazilian experience was born by an invitation of the Governor Roseana Sarney of the state of the Maranhao as representative of the European art on the occasion of the 500 years from the conquest of Brazil and the 125 of the Italian presence.

The participation was directed and caring on the part of State authorities, as well as the Governor personally, involving the interests of art critics who have dedicated ample space to the event with flattering and numerous newspaper articles, interviews and TV services.

The Conference at the University on “art and society” drew many artists and intellectuals as well as many students eager to learn painting techniques, including lithography and serigraphy.

The governor has delegated Borrello to represent the culture and the Brazilian art in Italy and in Europe.

From Verona Fedele the most sincere congratulations.
